The short version: Cordelia has no accounts, no telemetry, and no servers of its own. Your writing stays on your device.
What Cordelia collects
Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage analytics, or telemetry. It makes no network connections of its own. There are no accounts to create and no identifiers to track.
Your documents
Your documents are plain markdown files saved where you choose to save them — on your disk, or in a cloud folder you manage yourself (such as iCloud Drive or Dropbox). Cordelia never uploads, copies, or indexes them. If you sync your files through a third-party service, that service's privacy policy governs the copies it stores.
The alpha and TestFlight
During the alpha, Cordelia is distributed through Apple's TestFlight. If you have opted in through your device settings, Apple may share anonymized crash logs and basic usage statistics (such as install counts) with the developer. This data comes from Apple, is governed by Apple's privacy policy, and contains no document content.
If you write to us — to become a first reader, report a bug, or ask a question — we keep the correspondence so we can reply and follow up. Your address is used for nothing else: no marketing lists, no sharing with third parties.
This website
This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no visitor data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Given what Cordelia is, changes are expected to be rare and boring.
